Product Condition Guide
OVERVIEW
DeTour Audio is an online audio outlet operated by EarMen LLC.
We offer audio products in different conditions, including new, open-box, demo, B-stock, refurbished, used/pre-owned, clearance, final sale, discontinued, last-piece and special-offer items.
Because DeTour Audio is an outlet store, product condition may vary from item to item.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product condition, included accessories, packaging status, cosmetic condition, warranty terms and return eligibility stated on each product page before placing an order.
Condition details clearly stated on the product page before purchase are not considered defects.
NEW
A New product is unused and supplied in new condition.
New products normally include original packaging, standard accessories and the applicable warranty stated on the product page.
Packaging may still show minor storage or transport marks, but the product itself should be unused unless otherwise stated.
OPEN-BOX
An Open-box product is a product that has been opened, inspected, returned, displayed, photographed, repacked or handled, but is normally in excellent working condition.
Open-box products may have opened packaging, repacked accessories, minor packaging wear or signs of handling.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, open-box products are tested before shipping and include a 12-month limited warranty.
Open-box condition details, when stated on the product page, are not considered defects.
DEMO UNIT
A Demo Unit is a product that has been used for demonstration, showroom, review, event, dealer display, internal testing or presentation purposes.
Demo units are tested before shipping and are sold in working condition unless otherwise stated.
Demo units may show signs of previous use, handling, cable connection, transport, display or repackaging.
Cosmetic marks, packaging wear, minor scratches or signs of demo use are not considered defects if they are described on the product page.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, demo units include a 12-month limited warranty.
B-STOCK
A B-stock product is a product that is functional but may have cosmetic imperfections, packaging damage, missing non-essential packaging, previous handling, repackaging or other condition differences.
B-stock products are tested before shipping and are sold in working condition unless otherwise stated.
B-stock products may include minor scratches, small marks, finish variations, cosmetic blemishes, repacked accessories or non-retail packaging.
B-stock condition does not mean the product is defective.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, B-stock products include a 12-month limited warranty.
REFURBISHED
A Refurbished product is a product that has been inspected, repaired, serviced, restored, tested or prepared for resale.
Refurbished products are sold in working condition unless otherwise stated.
Refurbished products may show signs of previous use, service, repackaging or cosmetic wear.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, refurbished products include a 12-month limited warranty.
USED / PRE-OWNED
A Used or Pre-owned product is a product that has had previous ownership or previous use.
Used/pre-owned products are tested before shipping unless otherwise stated.
These products may show cosmetic signs of use, handling, wear, repackaging, missing original packaging or non-essential accessory differences.

CLEARANCE
A Clearance product is a discounted item sold as part of a stock reduction, discontinued product sale, end-of-line offer, special promotion or limited outlet deal.
Clearance products may be new, open-box, demo, B-stock, refurbished or used/pre-owned.
The exact condition will be stated on the product page where applicable.
Clearance products may have limited availability and may not be replaceable once sold.
Return eligibility and warranty terms may vary and will be stated on the product page where applicable.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, clearance products include a 12-month limited warranty.
FINAL SALE
A Final Sale product is sold at a special price with limited or no return eligibility, where permitted by law.
Final Sale items may include clearance products, heavily discounted items, parts, accessories, discontinued products, special-order products or items clearly marked as Final Sale on the product page.
Final Sale products are not eligible for return due to change of mind, cosmetic condition already disclosed, packaging condition already disclosed, or condition details accepted at the time of purchase.
Final Sale does not remove any mandatory legal rights that may apply, and it does not exclude warranty coverage for confirmed functional defects unless the product is clearly sold as non-working, for parts, or as a repair item.
LAST PIECE
A Last Piece product is the final available unit or one of the final available units of a product.
Last Piece products may be new, open-box, demo, B-stock, refurbished, used/pre-owned or clearance.
Because availability is limited, identical replacement units may not be available.
If a warranty issue occurs and an identical replacement is not available, DeTour Audio may offer repair, equivalent replacement, store credit, partial refund, full refund or another suitable solution depending on the case.
DISCONTINUED
A Discontinued product is no longer in regular production or no longer part of the current product line.
Discontinued products may have limited stock, limited spare parts availability or limited replacement availability.
Discontinued products may be new, open-box, demo, B-stock, refurbished, used/pre-owned, clearance or final sale.
Customers should review the product page carefully before purchase.
SPECIAL-OFFER ITEMS
Special-offer items are products sold under special pricing, limited-time offers, bundle offers, dealer offers or outlet promotions.
Special-offer items may have different return, replacement or warranty conditions depending on the product and the offer.
Any specific condition will be stated on the product page where applicable.
PARTS, ACCESSORIES AND SERVICE ITEMS
Parts, spare parts, accessories, service items, cables, tubes, replacement components and similar items may have different return and warranty conditions.

Cosmetic marks may include minor scratches, small dents, finish marks, handling marks, fingerprints, packaging wear, cable marks or other signs of previous use or storage.
Cosmetic condition details clearly stated on the product page are not considered defects.
FUNCTIONAL CONDITION
Unless clearly stated otherwise, products sold by DeTour Audio are expected to be functional and tested before shipping.
If a product is sold as non-working, for parts, for repair, or as-is, this will be clearly stated on the product page.
Products sold as non-working, for parts, for repair or as-is may not be eligible for standard warranty or return rights except where required by law.
WARRANTY
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all products sold by DeTour Audio include a 12-month limited warranty.
The warranty covers confirmed functional defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover cosmetic condition already disclosed, normal wear, misuse, improper handling, incorrect connection, unauthorized repair, modification, accidental damage, damage during return shipping, or damage caused by third-party accessories or equipment.

RETURNS
Return eligibility depends on the product condition, product category and information stated on the product page.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, customers may request a return within 14 days of delivery.
Products must be returned in the same condition as delivered, complete, undamaged and safely packed.
Condition details clearly disclosed before purchase are not considered defects and do not qualify the product for a defect-based return.
